It’s all about Science!
Contrary to the belief that training with science is cold or objectifies the horse, by understanding and acknowledging the way horses learn and behave we actually enhance the connection and communication that is so desired. Training horses is quite simply behavior change and the science of learning and behavior gives us a road map for how to change behavior and solve behavioral problems.
Intimidated by science? No worries, the purpose of the Optimistic Horse program is to simplify it. To help riders understand and utilize it to become the light, reliable, quiet and compassionate riders that their horses want them to be. To show their horses they can expect a certain outcome, to become Optimistic!
